Full Time EMT/AEMT Transport position

McDowell County Rescue Squad is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill one (1)
Full-Time Lead Transport Crew position. This position works a Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM
schedule. Hours may differentiate due to volume of calls for service. Daily duties include, but
are not limited to; responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service and
completing daily base duties.

Qualifications for Lead Transport Crew:
● North Carolina OEMS Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or higher
● ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
● AHA BLS Provider
Preferred Qualifications:
● AHA ACLS Provider
● AHA PALS Provider
● ICS 300, 400
● North Carolina OSFM Technical Rescuer
● North Carolina OSFM Technical Rescuer specialties

Applicants who hold North Carolina OEMS Emergency Medical Technician will be considered, if
hired, the applicant will have 1 year from date of hire to obtain their Advanced Emergency
Medical Technician.
